The Singapore Grand Prix 2026 will bring more than racing to the city this October. Around the main event, visitors and residents can explore motorsport exhibitions, interactive activities, entertainment and experiences across Singapore.

The programme reflects how major sporting events can extend activity beyond a race venue. From Sentosa and Marina Bay to Orchard Road and Clarke Quay, race-season experiences are spreading visitor activity across different parts of the city.

Race Season Moves Beyond the Circuit

One of the longer-running attractions is The Formula 1 Exhibition Singapore at Gardens by the Bay. Open until 18 October, the exhibition explores more than 75 years of Formula 1 through cars, artefacts and immersive displays.

Over at Resorts World Sentosa, Festivals of Thrills runs until 1 November. The programme brings motorsport-themed activities together with Halloween experiences across Universal Studios Singapore, Singapore Oceanarium, Adventure Cove Waterpark and other attractions.

Visitors can also take in the skyline during Pit Stop in the Sky at Singapore Flyer. Available until 8 October, the limited-time experience combines a 30-minute rotation with beverages and a racing-themed photo.

Interactive Experiences Add to the Weekend

Several events are designed to bring fans closer to motorsport rather than simply watch it.

INNERDRIVE®: The Performance Circuit 2026, running from 28 September to 11 October at Plaza Singapura and Funan, uses a digital city quest to combine sports, wellness, gamification and athlete stories. Admission is free.

Suntec City will host the LEGO Experience the Thrill Event 2026 from 1 to 18 October. Highlights include a life-size LEGO race car, a large race-themed mosaic and hands-on activities.

Meanwhile, adidas will bring two Formula 1 team experiences to the city from 2 to 11 October. Raffles City Shopping Centre will feature a Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One showcar and racing simulators, while Funan will host an Audi Revolut F1 Team pop-up.

Esports Joins Singapore’s Motorsport Week

Digital racing also has a place in this year’s programme.

The Gran Turismo World Series Round 3 Singapore takes place on 3 October at Sands Theatre. According to the media material, it will be the first GTWS championship staged in Southeast Asia, bringing leading sim racers together with regional esports activities.

On 9 October, Sim Racing Carnival 2026 at One Raffles Place will offer racing simulators, tournaments, entertainment and interactive activities. Admission is free.

These events widen the appeal of race season and connect physical motorsport with gaming and esports audiences.

Orchard Road and Marina Bay Join the Action

Race activity will also reach some of Singapore’s major shopping and entertainment districts.

Marina Bay Sands will stage Home of Champions: Singapore Night Race 2026 from 28 September to 11 October. Its programme includes race-themed installations, Ferrari car showcases, retail pop-ups, dining experiences and DJ performances.

At Ngee Ann City Civic Plaza, Orchard Paddock 2026 will run from 8 to 10 October. Visitors can expect race-themed games, movie screenings and performances by local artists.

Porsche will also hold Raceborn Fest 2026 at Guoco Midtown from 9 to 11 October, featuring its racing heritage and a simulator based on the Porsche Experience Centre Singapore circuit.

Why Race Weekend Matters Beyond Motorsport

The wider programme shows how a major sports event can create opportunities for tourism, hospitality, retail, entertainment and local cultural activity.

Visitors arriving for the race have more reasons to explore different neighbourhoods and stay active between race sessions. Free public events also give residents who may not attend the Grand Prix itself a way to participate in the atmosphere.

For Singapore, that broader reach supports its positioning as an urban destination where major events connect with shopping, entertainment, attractions and digital experiences.

A City-Wide October Experience

The Singapore Grand Prix may be the centrepiece, but the surrounding programme turns October into a wider city experience.

For Malaysian travellers in particular, Singapore’s proximity makes the race period an accessible regional getaway. Whether the interest is motorsport, esports, family activities or entertainment, this year’s programme offers several ways to experience the city beyond the circuit.
